SDC Stone was given the opportunity to take a local Artist’s Log Cabin Kitchen and bring it to life. SDC achieved this goal by incorporating the stonework in such a natural manner as to create the stunning illusion that the granite itself pre-existed all of the woodwork surrounding it.

SDC’s fabrication and installation work serve to accentuate the stunning Classic Hickory Cabinets offered by Jill's Classic Cabinetry and organic flow and movement in Artisan Stone Gallery’s two gorgeous slabs of Juparana Classico. The precision of the circular cuts around the corner logs was achieved during installation. SDC’s meticulous attention to detail can also be seen in the careful matching of the two cuts in the extended splash behind the stove which result in creating the impression that the entire stove backsplash is cut from a single piece. Finally, SDC scribed the entire length of the splash running along the sink deck in order to attain the cleanest and tightest fit possible.

The outcome of this beautiful project is that the delighted homeowners and their guests now enjoy a new pastime in their renovated kitchen - playing “seek the seams.”
